As Pleased As Punch in Brighton – June 21st – September 7th at the West Pier Centre, an exhibition celebrating the centuries-long career of the little wooden Lord of Misrule. Queen Victoria may not have been amused by Brighton’s Pavilion but she loved its Punch and Judy Show which performed for her by Royal Command. It was Brighton’s ‘Professors’, too, who helped link Mr. Punch forever with the seaside. Come and discover their colourful story.
