Local playwright Matt Thompson has written a stage adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s novel ‘The West Pier’. He’s planning to hold a literary salon as part of the Brighton Festival featuring selected scenes with commentary from an expert panel. Trust historian Fred Gray will speak about the historical context of the piece. It will be well worth a ticket and when we have details I’ll post them here.
