We’re delighted to announce that Brighton Artist Alej ez will be in residence every Thursday at the West Pier Centre on the seafront starting 15th April. Alej ez exhibited his work at the Centre in autumn 2019. Come along anytime between 11am – 5pm and meet Alej ez as he creates art prints and drawings with the theme of Brighton & Hove, the sea and the West Pier. Find out what inspires him and watch him at work.
He is working on some new prints and in between larger projects, has also completed some experimental fun prints. These are loosely influenced by the work of artist Robert Taverner and the New Romantic British artists, John Minton and Keith Vaughan. He has been studying their work during lockdown. These designs are also available as greeting cards. Instagram @alejezart
