Aveda’s Dukes Lane shop has recently been refitted. The company’s policy has always been to use as much recycled material as possible and noticing a pile of salvaged pier timber in the compound asked if it could be bought for use in the Brighton shop. The result is excellent! Do take a look if you’re in the Lanes – it’s a wonderful example of how damaged material can be used to great effect.
