Andy Dawson has sent us some charming photos of himself on the pier in the 1960’s and 70’s. You can see lots of classic West Pier features very clearly such as the famous seat backs and, in the first photo, part of one of the six 1866 octagonal kiosks. It’s one of these that the Trust salvaged in the 1990’s and plans to restore as a heritage centre, to be reinstated within the new landscaping east of Brighton i360.
