Virtual West Pier
F10 Studios is a Brighton-based company specialising in virtual 3D architectural models. The company approached the Trust in 2009 proposing to make a model the West Pier in its heyday, free of charge to the Trust. The result is an detailed representation of the pier created solely from plans and photographs held by the Trust and its consultant engineers, Hemsley Orrell. The eventual aim is to create a virtual tour of the pier where you can walk through the pier in its 1920’s heyday condition.

Magical murmuration caught on video by Louise Yates
Brighton photographer Louise Yates has very kindly agreed to share her short video which superbly captures the moment thousands of starlings fly in unison over the West Pier. Filmed in November 2017, Louise told us that she absolutely adores the West Pier and has many happy memories of playing on it as a child. West Pier Dive
Footage of a dive in May 2008 on Brighton/Hove west pier. As far as I know this is the only scuba footage of this pier, due to it's hazardous nature.
I did not penetrate the submerged structure, and visibility was a good 5 metres. The structure is unsafe, lots of monofilament line, nets and large loose bits of iron, we carefully researched tides and weather, vis was excellent as required, dive it at your own risk.
