Andy Garth of Brighton and Hove Stuff presents an interactive mosey through the news, non news and events of the time via the archive of black and white photographs and negatives of which he has guardianship and reminds us of what was going on in an age where the local paper was the king of what was happening where you lived.
Andy who is a born and bred Brightonian has worked in the local property industry for 43 years and also deals in selling Brighton and Hove Stuff. He has is custodian of the Brighton Evening Argus photo archive consisting of hundreds of thousands of black and white photos and probably a million negatives, which has become a labour of love, but also has become the gift that keeps on giving.
